Here's your hilarious joke:

#prayfor hashtags I've decided not to share any kind of #prayfor statuses when disaster strikes. Somehow, the hashtag ironically works against its own purpose; it decouples us from the victims, burying them behind numbers and statistics. It's as if our empathy spikes for a moment and we need a gateway for that overflow of emotion and #prayfor tags fit the bill perfectly. Set it, and forget it. Let's rather read up on the victims instead, appreciate what they were living for, and cherish the fact that we are lucky enough to have yet one more day to live and love. The day we put ourselves in one's shoes is the day we learn to care for one another (unless their shoes were blown away by blast).
